Dear Diary,
Today, I have been teached by our lecturer, Madam Ramha Rozaili Binti Ramli about "Time Management and Organisation Performance".
What is time?
- Noun = The indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present and future.
- Verb =Plan, schedule, or arrange when something should happen or be done.
Time management = The ability to use one's time effectively, productively, especially at work.
Steps to manage our time well.
Steps to manage our time well.
- Weekly schedule = We need to do weekly planner. It will help us to know our busy and free time.
- Daily planner = We need to plan the things that we do everyday.
- Semester Calendar = It will help us know the class flows for our interim/semester.
- Academy Vs Personal Life = We should know which is the most importance thing between our personal problems or academy. For example, if we need to choose between study for CTU exam or go to shopping, for sure we must choose study for the exam because it is more important.
- The Most Important thing is avoid procrastination (postpone task). It will make us stress several days before the deadline.
Reasons Of Delaying Task.
- Perfectionist = There are some students that things their works are not perfect so that they doing the work and make it over again.
- Avoid failure = Someone that have more important things and priority to be done and afraid that delayed task will make he or she fail and need to repeat that course.
- Being Rebellious = Some student may have issues with their group members because they don't have similar opinion. So, sometimes, it will end up with all the group members give up to finish up their assignment project.
- Feeling Overwhelming = When the student has a problem, he or she refused to do anything.
- Lazy = Someone that like to postpone assignment because he or she think that the deadline is still far.
Remedy:
We should get back to our goal and alert with the deadline. Sometimes, we can give ourselves "self reward" after we have done study like eat chocolate bar as much we want.
Advantage Of Organized:
We will keep on schedule and meet deadline without stress because our emotion are in control. We also will be more confident when we finished the assignment given by the lecturer because we know that we can do it!
